The new look Chesapeake Orioles (defending 25+ Columbus day tournament champions) are looking to fill at least 6 roster spots for the 2012 season with dedicated and talented ball players with passion and respect for the game. This team will compete in the 25+ league, as well as 3 local tournaments (April, July and October). Indoor practices begin in late February. We have an open competition each spring, with all starting spots up for grabs. Due to some players retiring and the normal player turnover, the Chesapeake Mariners will be looking for a few players for the 2012 season. The Mariners have accumulated 352 wins in their existence as a team and have won many regular season and post season championships. We also enter 4-5 tournaments per year with the most recent being a 2nd place finish in the Columbus Day Tournament. We are a team on the field as well as off with many cookouts etc during the year.
